the 8 phases of the moon: utilise the magick of each phase into your life.
The moon is not just here for aesthetic purposes, it has a magickal and purposeful influence on our life. We are connected to her, just as we are connected to Mother Nature. Everything in life is connected. To become more in tune with your path, purposes, and fulfilment, you can actually use the moon as a tool to create the life that you dream of.
The moon consists of 8 phases: the new moon, the waxing crescent moon, the first quarter moon, the waxing gibbous moon, the full moon, the disseminating moon, the last quarter moon, and the balsamic moon. Or some people like to break it up into 4 phases: the new phase, the waxing phase, the full phase, and the waning phase.
There is actually one more phase that many witches, pagans, astrologers, and the like, utilise- it is the dark moon phase, which is before the new moon. I will cover this phase also in this blog post.
“The secret is to make wishes and set intentions in tune with the moon’s cycles.”-’Moonology’ by Yasmin Boland.
When you tune in, set intentions, and take action according to the current moon phase, miracles and magick begin to happen!
Read on to learn about the basics of each moon phase, and how you can begin to utilise it’s magick!
“Manifesting with the moon’s cycles as a cosmic timer dramatically boosts our chances of becoming accomplished conscious creators and deliberate manifestors.” - Excerpt from ‘Moonology’ by Yasmin Boland.
